In order to increase protection from counterfeiting efforts and to better facilitate the public in identifying the authenticity sheet rupiah, Bank Indonesia (BI) officially launched the new design banknotes.
Type of paper money which has upgraded the design is Rp 20,000 denomination emission year 2004, emissions of Rp 50,000 years 2005 and Rp 100,000 in 2004 emissions.

1. Rp 20,000 denomination emission year 2004
